Currently still under development, WorldFireDepartments.com is looking forward to honoring America’s heroes in our own unique way.

Each month, we are going to be featuring one of the web’s best fire department or firefighter-related website. At the end of the year, World Fire Departments will name its finalists for favorite fire site, and then hold an online vote to determine the web’s favorite fire site.

This is going to be an award voted on by the visitors of World Fire, and the friends, family, and communities of the finalists.

We can’t think of a better way to use the web to honor the hard work of firefighters.
