    I always remember that tragic day.  Our freedom is very precious, and we all should remember what happened!  We need to all stay strong and continue to pray for each other and the families that still suffer.  I light my candle for a very special man that I never met, but met his family.  Joseph, we love you and miss you greatly!

    I would like to light a candle for every firefighter and police officer that lost their life on 9-11-01. You just kept climbing. I have the biggest respect and honor for all of you. You will be remembered in our hearts forever. God Bless you and your families.

  7. This candle is for the Family, Friends, Firefighters & Police (both NYPD and PAPD) and Paramedics, and the ones who didn't survive this brutal attack on America.  This candle is also for the U.S. Troops who are overseas fighting the terrorists.  I Salute you, GOD BLESS AMERICA!

    my memories of that day are still so clear...
    the announcement that a plane hit the wtc
    was made over the radio while I was parking
    my car.
    I was half listening... but then it hit me...
    GOD! WHAT! WHY!

    I still can remember every thing of that day!!

  20. It takes a special person to be a firefighter, we are lucky that these men
    knew that they were up to the challange.  There are just not enough men of
    this caliber in the world, it was a sad, sad, day to loose 343 in one blow.
    May God be with their families and friends helping them to keep their memory
    alive.  They are not truly gone unless we forget them or allow their deaths
    to pass in vain.  As Americans we need to stand up to help ensure this does
    not happen again.
